We are sad our time in the classroom was cut short but we are so proud of you for continuing your learning at home. We want to thank your parents and families so much for everything they have done to continue your education! Hi Buchanan Kindergarten students and families. We hope you had a fun and sunny weekend! Below are this week's lessons as well as an important post from our school administrators (at the very bottom of this post). A reminder that Kindergarten families can come pick up their child's school supplies on Tuesday outside of the school between 10 AM and 2 PM. Most of Mrs. Newman's class has all of their belongings as they were delivered, however she will have another package ready for you on Tuesday. Miss Andreachuk's class will get to pick up their Rebus Chant book, Over in the Meadow song book, Kindergarten Journal, crayons, and if they were not yet picked up, indoor shoes. This week is the week before our spring/Easter break. We have included some Easter songs for students to listen, sing, and dance along to. Monday, April 6th is the two year anniversary of the tragic Humboldt Broncos bus crash. People are encouraged to wear hockey/sports jerseys to honour the lives lost. Tuesday, April 7th is Green Shirt Day. Green Shirt Day is inspired by Logan Boulet from Lethbridge. He died as a result of his injuries from the bus crash. He donated his organs so 6 lives could live on. People are encouraged to wear green shirts on this day to honour Logan's life and to encourage conversation about organ donation.
