Hello everyone! We hope you had a restful and fun weekend. We also hope all of our Kindergarten moms had a great Mother's Day. Thank you for all you do! Below are this week's lessons. Our literacy lessons this week focus on a story called Going to the Zoo by Tom Paxton. This story can be found read aloud on YouTube, and it is included at the bottom of this post. This story is also a fun song, and we have included that video as well! There is also a link below to National Geographic Kids. This is a great website for you to use with your Kindergarten student to research animals. At the bottom of this post we have also included some Zoo math activity sheets students can do to practice their pattern skills and sorting skills. A reminder that next Monday, May 18th is Victoria Day. Lessons will be posted next week on Tuesday, May 19th. Have a great long weekend! Please feel free to email us with any questions you may have. Have a wonderful week of learning and playing!
